PUNJAB UNIVERSITY LAHORE PHARM D ADMISSIONS 2014-15

UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF PHARMACY

The department of the Pharmacy was upgrade to the level of Faculty by the University authorities in 1979. The departments was divided into four section, namely:
Pharmaceutics Pharmacology Pharmaceutical Chemistry Pharmacognosy. 
With the shifting of the institute of chemistry and institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology to New Campus, the Faculty expanded many folds by having more laboratories lecture theaters, space for library and extra-curricular activities. The efficiency of the department increased significantly in respect to the teaching / training programs. The silent future of this progress is the updating of the curricula and other facilities to prepare the graduates to meet the challenge / latest trends in the Pharmacy profession

ADMISSION CRITERIA

Candidates for admission should have completed F.Sc. (Pre-medical) or B.Sc. (After F.Sc. Pre-medical) or equivalent examination holding at least 2nd Division in the Examination on the basis of which he/she is seeking admission. All the students (except foreigners) must have to appear in Entry Test.

Pharm.D (Morning)

Doctor of Pharmacy course is spread over a period of five years. Each year terminates to a professional examination. The subjects in each year are approved by the Academic Council of University of the Punjab, Lahore and Higher Education Commission formely known as University Grant Commission.
