ADMISSION NOTICE


For B.Sc. Engineering & B.Sc. Engineering Technology Programs


Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering & Technology (MNS-UET) Multan is an


initiative of the Government of the Punjab to provide quality education in the fields of engineering and engineering technology particularly in the region of southern Punjab. The university has started its administrative and academic activities through UET Lahore on the premises of Government College of Technology Multan since 2012.


Applications are invited from Punjab Domiciled candidates for admission in following undergraduate programs:

B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering Technology


B.Sc. Civil Engineering Technology

B.Sc. Electrical Engineering

B.Sc. Chemical Engineering

Receipt of applications shall start from Friday 12th September 2014.


ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:


• Applicants who appeared in the UET Lahore Combined Entry Test 2014 are only eligible to apply.


• Applicants should have at least 60% marks in F.Sc. / DAE as well as 50% aggregate marks. Aggregate marks would be calculated as: [{Percentage marks in F.Sc. / B.Sc. / DAE}x 0.7] + [ {Percentage marks in Combined Entry Test}x 0.3]


• Further details on eligibility are available in the MNS UET Prospectus 2014 which will be available from 12th September 2014.


NOTE: The candidates who have passed equivalent examinations (other than Pakistani Boards) should submit equivalence certificate issued by I.B.C.C., FBISE Building, H-8/4, Islamabad OR I.B.C.C., BISE Building, 86 Mozang Road, Lahore.


SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM


1. Completed application forms along with the documents as detailed in the prospectus shall be submitted to Incharge Admissions, MNS-UET located in Govt. College of Technology, Old Bahawalpur Road, Multan on all working days from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (with break from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm). Friday timings will be from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. Applications would be accepted on the last day, that is, Friday 26-09-2014 up to 4:00 p.m. (1:00 pm to 2:30 pm prayer break).


2. Applicants are advised to fill program preferences very carefully. NO REQUEST will be entertained for changing the preference order after submission of application.


3. Any request to increase F.Sc. marks, updated by BISE after rechecking of intermediate papers, will not be accepted after last date of submission of admission application i.e. 26.09.2014.


4. Applications submitted via Post/Courier will NOT be accepted.


LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS:


Friday 26th September 2014 up to 4:00 pm. (1:00 pm to 2:30pm prayer break) Hafiz-e-Quran Test will be held on Tuesday 30-09-2014 at 9 am. in MNS-UET Camp Office Multan


PROSPECTUS AND APPLICATION PROCESSING CHARGES:


Applicants shall pay Rs.350/= as prospectus charges plus Rs.500/= as application processing & preferences fee at the time of purchasing prospectus including admission forms.
