Higher Education Commission Pakistan has decided to make the 7 big Universities of Pakistan as Smart University . In these Universities Free Wi-Fi will be provided to students and Teachers in campus 24 hours. The Universities which are going to be under title Smart by HEC are as :-
- Punjab University Lahore
- Karachi University Karachi
- Peshawar University
- Balochistan University
- Quaid e Azam University Islamabad
- Azad Kashmir University
- Gilgit University , Gilgit Baltistan
HEC spokesman said that the official agreement with PTCL is going to be done to provide free WIFI in Universities.
With free Wi-Fi facility Student will enjoy the free Internet accessibility on their Laptops and smartphones 24 hours.
