Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) is the premier R&D organization in the agriculture sector in Pakistan. At NARC Islamabad, il has the most advanced research facilities in all agriculture disciplines and allied sciences having strong linkages with the sources of knowledge internationally. It has modem infrastructure, highly qualified faculty and well equipped labs. Since November 2008, PARC has initiated an ambitious academic (course work and research) program at PARC Institute of Advanced Studies in Agriculture (PIASA). Admission in Fall Semester for 2014.

(i) Candidate shall have valid GAT-General result card with minimum cumulative score of50% other wise please see entry test schedule below.

(ii) Candidate shall have obtained 1st Division in MA/MSc degree (16 years) or its equivalent or in BA/BScbut no 3rd division in MA/MSc or BA/BSc oral least 56% marks in BS (Hons) and all other4 to 5 years Degrees.

(iii) In case of 3rd division in SSC7MSSC, the candidate should have 1 st division in both BA/BSc and MA/MSc or its equivalent degree or at least 60% marks in BS (Hons) and all other 4 to 5 vears degree.

(i) Candidate shall have valid result card ofGAT Subject with 60% score in the relevant Held other wise please see entry test schedule below.

(ii) Candidate shall have at least 18 years of education having M.Sc (Hons) Agric/Prefcrably holders ofDVM/Animal husbandry or M.Phil in Biological Science or Equivalent (HEC recognized) degree in the respective field of specialization with a minimum CGPAof 3.0/4 (under semester system) or 1 st Division with 65% marks under annual system.

(iii) The application ofcandidate must be accompanied with a comprehensive research proposal he/she intends to undertake (Study Areas are available at PARC/PI ASA Website: www.pare.gov.pk)

(iv) In- Service candidates shall apply through proper channel along with a valid NOC.

AGB NRM, AE & PEP October 2, 2014 at 09:00 hrs: Research Proposal Presentation and interview for Pli.D PGB & AGB October 3, 2014 at 09:00 hrs: Research Proposal Presentation and interview for Ph.D NRM. AE & PEP Note: GAT (General/ Subject) exam will be held at PIASA, NARC, Islamabad on September 28, 2014, 9:00 A.M

8:00 to 4:00) PARC Institute of Advanced Studies in Agriculture (PIASA) NARC, Park Road, Islamabad.

Fill up the application properly, attach copies of required documents, and submit the same to administration office.

1. An amount of Rs.800/- as application processing fee shall be charged in cash at the time of submission of application.

2. GATsubjcct and GAT general test fee Rs. 1500/- and Rs. 1000′- for admission in Ph.D and M.Phil respectively, shall be charged in cash at time of application submission for the candidates who do not have valid GAT result card.
